Urban Dynamics and Possibilities of Its Objective Measuring Using Earth Remote Sensing Data

摘要

The objective of the article is to present a proposal for the methodology for setting uniform land change monitoring - an indicator of territorial dynamics in connection with the set planning tools on a regional level. The indicator should be a key bearer of real geographical and political information of the implementation progress and results of the spatial cohesion policies - reducing of regional disparities with the objective of contributing to the sustainable overall and effective economic development of the area, emphasising the reduction of the more serious negative territorial impacts of urbanization and suburbanization.
