Quality assurance for power plant simulation

摘要

Quality is a relative concept that depends on different criteria, some objective and some subjective. For the simulation of the process in power plants, the Total Quality Management (TQM) and the ISO 9001-3 guidelines are useful instruments. These are of help in achieving satisfaction and confidence with a minimum effort, in a short time and with low costs. The paper presents a quality assurance flow-chart for the power plant simulation models. Some simulation philosophy elements used for a 50 MW thermal power plant are given as example.
