Social order- generator of the social control mechanisms among the youth

The paper discusses the processes related to social order, and the elements by which the mechanism of social control is shaped, reflected in intentions of producing social wellbeing, but resulting in social wrong. The premise we start from is the existence of a unilateral dimension of generally accepted social normativity related to deviance or delinquency. In young people's social life human actions, although born from positive reasons and labelled as positive, end up producing the wrong. In illustrating the big picture of contemporaneity it is affirmed that sociology studies the wrong hiding behind an "embarrassing and neutral morality of deviance". The purpose of our investigating endeavour consisted in highlighting the correlation between the structure of the young people and the allowed conduct models on the individual level, materialised through the social reaction in the proximal environment, as a condition necessary for the occurrence of adaptation / maladjustment. The techniques used in the applied research were the documentation and the semi-structured interview applied, in the period May-June 2012, to a number of 23 teenagers attending a Res.ita high school. Thus we can consider social control among the youth as a formal or informal mechanism meant to maintain social order.
