Migration and human trafficking

The paper examines the phenomenon of human trafficking in relation to migration. The analysis, based on a statement describing the situation globally, shows that human trafficking is strongly connected with migration. Areas with substantial migration flows are also characterised by the existence of human trafficking. There is also a significant number of child victims of human trafficking. Fields where this phenomenon is present are different. In poorer areas of the world, a significant number of cases of human trafficking are identified in the field of forced labour, while in more developed areas, such as Europe, a significant number of trafficked persons are involved in sexual exploitation. Regardless of its form, it is a global phenomenon and it involves a significant number of victims.
