The concept of resilience has not been defined in a uniform manner by the professionals in the field of psychology although, for most researchers and practitioners, resilience, however, is the process that allows a person who experiences a traumatic event or chronic adversity to show a good adaptation [4]. This paper proposes an approach, in this first stage, of the theoretical issues, and of clarification of the research methodology of the study of juvenile delinquency and resilience. The subjects considered in this research are juvenile delinquents resident in the Reeducation Centre Buzias.. The research aims to develop an inventory of risk and protection factors relevant to the field of juvenile delinquency and to deepen the knowledge of individual factors due to the administration of Zuckermann-Khulmann personality questionnaire, questionnaires allowing the evaluation of youth functioning adaptability (TRF and YSR) and an intellectual level test, Raven's matrices.
