The Chinese Loess Plateau is subjected to severe soil erosion and degradation, where natural n vegetation is proved the basis and effective approach for vegetation restoration (Jiao et al 2011). See is regarded as the most important limiting factor inplant colonization, which determines the natun regeneration, as well as the plant distribution and vegetation composition. Seed removal by watt erosion has gained much attention for its effects on vegetation (Wang et al 2013). Thus, we conducte this study to determine whether seed removal is relevant to the species abundance and frequency on th eroded slopes.
