As it is relatively difficult to monitor the overlaying strata deformation due to the limitation of the field in deep mining, and the study on deformation law was not systematic. For the sake of this, we took the 4305 working face in Tangkou Coal Mine as the research background, based on the method of new mechanical and physical simulate experiment, the simulation was carried out on the overlaying strata deformation characteristics and the dynamic evolution law of mining process. The results show that: the overlaying strata subsidence is decaying along with the mining depth decreased gradually; the inclination deformation curve of overlaying strata is symmetrical in shape, but its positive and negative maximum value is not equal, the position of symmetry line bias toward the stop Line.
