摘要

Pulsed metal inert gas welding process parameters plays an important role in clad bead geometry during cladding of austenitic stainless steel onto low carbon steel. The quality of the weld clad bead geometry is achieved by controlling the process parameters through developing the mathematical model and predicting the significant factors. In this present investigation a mathematical models are developed to correlate the relationship between process parameters and response. The process parameters selected for the investigations are welding current, welding speed and nozzle-to-plate distance response like bead width, height of reinforcement depth of penetration and dilution. Also a sensitivity analysis was performed to study the significance.
