摘要

Diesel generating sets are applied widely in power station for ship.The performance of diesel engine speed governor is important for stability of power network.Due to the strong nonlinearity of diesel engine,the requirements on speed governor system in variable work state of engine cannot be met using traditional PID control algorithm.To get better effect,a fuzzy-PID switching controller for speed control is designed in this paper.A new switching method with speed error and error rate is used for the choice from the two type controller.And a speed control system for a diesel engine based on virtual instrument technology is built.Simulation and experiment result indicate that the presented control method can significantly enhance the dynamic and steady-state characteristics of the speed response.
