SISCOWIND TMFD TECHNOLOGY

摘要

SISCOWIND TMFD is based on Filament Winding technology. It can be used with fibers impregnated with thermoset and thermoplastic matrix, and it is suitable to Concave and Convex Section and allows Angular Diretrix The first result has been obtained by the test of a new winding head for composite material having thermoplastic matrix. The test has shown that the new head is more productive. The new process is completely automatic with advantages on costs and reliability's process. It's possible to bond the tape on a concave surface applying a control on the tape's direction and load. The reduction cost, process major reliability, more geometries for the mandrill, allow to apply the composite materials in new applications. More interest is for substituting the metal elements working at low temperature in mechanical system, where the weight is a issue.
