The Utility of a New Dual Functional Coagent for Peroxide Cured Elastomers

SR523 dual functional coagent: is an effective coagent for peroxide cured elastomers such as HNBR, EPDM and NBR; low viscosity allows easier handling and addition than TAC and provides improved processability; exhibits improved scorch resistance over Type I co agents (TMPTA, HVA-2); exhibits cure properties similar to TAC with higher tensile modulus at higher coagent concentrations.
