摘要

Daylighting regains its status in illuminating interiors in the wake of building sustainability. The trend of lighting research has returned to focus on improving indoor daylighting quality, e.g. discomfort glare. Researchers have developed various methods to evaluate daylight glare typically based on luminance. Luminance is traditionally obtained using point measurements with a hand-held meter, but this process is too tedious with random errors. This paper suggests the use of High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography for luminance acquisition in pixel across the entire visual field to compute DGIN for the real non-uniform daylit scenes.
