On the Security of an Anonymous Batch Authenticated and Key Agreement Scheme for Value-Added Services in VANETs

In 2011, Huang et al. proposed an anonymous batch authenticated and key agreement scheme for value-added services in vehicular Ad Hoc networks (VANETs). Unfortunately, we show that Huang et al.'s batch authenticated and key agreement scheme is insecure against conspiracy attack. In order to avoid conspiracy attack, we improved Huang et al.'s scheme. Through analysis, the improved scheme can stand against conspiracy attack.
