Unmanned Aerial Vehicles were helping Thai authorities to do disaster recovery during the Great Thailand flood of 2011. UAVs were flown by multiple agencies during the flood. We created the way to communicate and work with researchers to provide water movement data for simulation to manage the flood movement systematically. In this paper, we discuss about the flood, the UAV usage during the flood, the lessons learned, and what can be improved.
