In this study, we propose a new method to excite nano-dipole antenna using a subwavelength laser. A realistic nano-dipole with spherical tips was designed with a 2nm gap and 10nm radius and then excited by a subwavelength laser with a wavelength of 800nm and a spot radius of 200nm. The electric field at the center of the gap has been recorded for different arm length values. The study shows that the nano-dipole exhibits some resonances at specific values of arm length.
