Transparent Microstrip Antennas for CubeSats

Transparent microstrip antennas are explored for use on CubeSats. A review of methods for making transparent antennas is given, including the use of transparent metal, the use of meshed surfaces, and the creation of holey structures that have a periodic array of holes drilled through the structure.
