摘要

The performance of line source radiators is evaluated using autocorrelation principles. The radiated power, beamwidth variance, and gain-beamwidth product are defined in terms of autocorrelation functions, which eliminates the need to have a priori knowledge of the radiated pattern. Additionally, scanning radiating structures are evaluated using similar principles. Specifically, line sources with linearly varying phase and lineal arrays of elements with non-constant phase are considered.
