How to Validate Micro-Scale Chambers for Compliance with Standard Methods for Testing of Materials Used In Vehicles and Indoors

Concern over passenger health and safety because of poor vehicle interior air quality (VIAQ) has led to regulations on the materials used in vehicles, and the development of associated sampling and analytical methods. The aim of these methods (e.g. VDA278, IS012219-3, IS012219-2, IS012219-4/6, ISO WD etc.) is to aid understanding of the VOC and SVOC content of car trim, emission profiles, and the overall quality of in-vehicle air.
