摘要

Solar-driven photocatalytic water splitting to produce hydrogen has been raised increasing attention due to the unique advantages in solving the energy and environmental issues. The hybriding of semiconductors with heterostructures has been shown one of effective strategies for improving photocatalytic efficiency through promoting the separation of photogenerated charges and widening the absorbance of light. Herein, we report the preparation of nanocapsule of TiO2/CdS composite with Pt cocatalyst loaded on the internal surface of TiO2 [(Pt-TiO2)/CdS] and the investigation of its photocatalytic property for hydrogen evolution.
