摘要

Based on loading results, micro- and nanoparticles are shown to be good delivery vehicles for vaccine antigens and adjuvants, in some cases, simultaneously. Data from activation studies not only show high percentages of CD11c+ cells, but also high levels of CD40 and CD86, important surface markers for activation. These results indicate that the particle carriers can efficiently deliver immunostimulatory molecules to the cells and further studies will be done to determine antigen specificity as well.
