There are no clear ingredients of wholegrain and wholegrain foods defined in the international community.In 1999,the AACC defined wholegrain as a Complete caryopsis,or crushed,or broken,or tablet,what the basic components include starchy endosperm,germ and bran and the relative proportions of various components are the same with a complete caryopsis.Wholegrain foods has a variety of health effects:reduce the risk of stroke by 30% to 36%,reduce the risk of type Ⅱ diabetes by 21% to 30%,reduce heart disease risk by 25 % to 28%,and also conducive to weightcontrol.
