ASSESSMENT OF THE EFFECT OF COKE QUALITY ON BF OPERATION BY USING COKE SAMPLER

The behavior of coke degradation and unburnt pulverized coal in a lower part of blast furnace was investigated by using a coke sampler in order to elucidate the effect of coke qualities on the operation parameters. The tuyere coke samplings had been conducted 10 times in the blast furnaces of Hyundai Steel Company (HSC).
