摘要

The present paper investigates one environmentally appealing and a cheap method to reduce the heat gain from solar radiation impinging on buildings in summer time. A Trombe wall system and an evaporative cooling unit are incorporated in a test room to enhance natural ventilation from room to the outside and to reduce the interior temperature of the test room respectively. The temperature measurements at different locations inside the test room showed a remarkable reduction in temperature inside the test room compared with the ambient temperature. The results obtained encourage using incorporated systems for buildings in hot regionsto accomplish comfort for residents and reduce the bill of electricity.
