Environmental impact comparison in small scale cogeneration fired with alternative fuels

摘要

In the following paper the small scale cogeneration is analyzed from the environmental point of view, when in two small scale cogeneration blocks the primary fuel is replaced by biobutanol blends and pure rapeseed oil. Results and discussions regarding the behavior of major pollutants (CO, NO_x and CO_2) resulted in the process of producing heat and electricity in cogeneration is presented. Conclusions are closing the paper.
