Biphenyl Pendants and Its Application to Chiral Stationary Phases for HPLC

摘要

Optically inactive poly(phenylacetylene)s bearing a functional pendant group form a preferred-handed helical conformation upon complexation with optically active compounds [1].Moreover,it is reported that one-handed helicity induced in poly(phenylacetylene)s bearing a carboxy or a phosphonate group by optically active amines through acid-base interaction can be memorized when the amine is replaced by achiral amines [2].
