摘要

Chromatographic enantioseparation,particularly by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC),is a practical and useful method not only for analyses but also for obtaining enantiomers.The development of chiral stationary phases (CSPs) is the key to this separation technique.Lots of effective polymer-type CSPs for HPLC,such as polysaccharide derivatives and poly(meth)acrylamide derivatives,have been synthesized [1].For polymer-type CSPs,highly ordered structures of the polymers play an important role for effective chiral recognition.Optically active poly(phenylacetylene)s synthesizeded by polymerization of phenylacetylene monomers bearing chiral substitutents have been considered to have a dynamic helical structure,which is affected by environmental conditions (solvents,temperature,and additives,etc.).Therefore,the helical poly(phenylacetylene)s are attractive and perspective candidates as novel CSPs for HPLC enantioseperation [2,3].
