摘要

Relatively little is known about the effects of water arsenic (As) and As methylation capacity on lung function particularly among individuals exposed to low-to-moderate levels of As or without skin lesion. In a population-based study, using follow-up data in the Health Effects of Arsenic Longitudinal Study (HEALS) cohort, we found that As exposure from drinking water was significantly related to impaired lung function particularly among those with poor As methlylation capacity.
