Patient-Oriented Treatment: Solution to Low Back Pain

Low back pain is the world wide medical problem. Clinical practice guidelines for low back pain are important tools for clinicians. As the guidelines include many different interventions, and there are so many conflicting reports from high-quality randomized controlled trials, clinicians are challenged to choose the best one for the specific patient. The patient-oriented classification is helpful to decide the patient-oriented treatment and a multivariate clinical prediction rule for any intervention need to be clarified. Desensitization of mechanoreceptors inhibit the muscle activity, which could the original reason for low back pain in some cases. Strategies target on resensitizing the mechanoreceptors would be benificial. The morden 4P medicine mode would guide the the whole program for low back pain managenment.
