We numerically demonstrate the control of the recollision process in nonsequential double ionization (NSDI) of helium with the orthogonally polarized two-color field. By changing the relative phase of the fields, the revisit time of the recolliding electron wave packet can been precisely controlled. As a result, the two-electron momentum distributions from NSDI are manipulated to reveal strong correlated or anticorrelated behaviors. We also demonstrate the application of the orthogonal two-color scheme in the molecular clock experiment.
