Prediction on Debris Flow Disaster Based on the Physical Simulation Test

In the 21st century,not only the occurrence frequency but also harmful levels of debris flows have increased significantly,and it caused huge losses to people’s lives and property,so it is necessary to study the hazard and cause of debris flow,where physics simulation is a better way to forecast debris flow hazards.Taking Zhangjiagou debris flow as an example,a 1/2,000 physical simulation test platform was established,5 groups of schemes including 13 tests were designed based on the orthogonal test method.Then we studied how trigger factors such as water content,slope of form and the circulation channel effect debris flow,and the velocity calculation formula of the debris flow was inversed combining with the actual monitoring results.The research results may provide a scientific basis for forecasting and controlling debris flow hazard.
