摘要

This work proposes a computational model which represents the dynamic response of a railway bridge-vehicle system. The model takes into account the wheel-rail contact and has track irregularities as causes of dynamic excitation. The vehicle is modeled as a 25 degrees-of-freedom rigid body system which represents bouncing, rolling, pitching, and yawing motions. The bridge is modeled using three-dimensional frame elements based on the Euler-Bernoulli assumption. Track irregularities are simply modeled by sinusoidal functions. The dynamic behaviors of both the railway vehicle and the railway bridge are studied under different speeds and frequency ranges.
