摘要

New sensor‐less rotation detection method for BDC motors. Sensor‐less Transient Detection on power wires up to 20 meters from motor. Simple implementation and more reliable detection/counting than sensor‐less ripple counting. Easy integration in existing motor controller. Significant cost savings and improved reliability and durability compared to sensor based control systems. Enables new control and monitoring possibilities for BDC motors which are not possible in sensor based applications. Also suitable for AC/DC universal motors commonly used in household appliances.
