The reliability of plant cable systems today is of utmost importance. The circuit owner needs to insure longevity of the system and stability to meet increasing production demands. Ideally, the circuit owner would screen all electrical cables and accessories with a diagnostic tool to ascertain areas of concern and to prioritize maintenance of the system. Once the system is graded, then the cables that must be replaced should be. The cables that are a good match for silicone fluid cable rejuvenation should be injected and the good cables should be monitored over time to track aging and long term performance.
