Design of Substation Protection Device Based on IEC61850 MMS

This article is mainly targeted at domestic substation devices appear in poor interoperability and Statute conversion complex issues, proposed a cost savings and interoperability of new ideas. After the access to the abundant literature and practical research, with the current international universal iec61850 standard and Manufacturing Message Specification (MMS), designed a substations the protection model which is not require protocol conversion and savings the statute converted cost. This model has the basic features needed by devices; on the other device in the substation's design has some constructive significance.
