摘要

The tensile mechanical properties of single carbon fibers which were produced in China were tested.The Weibull distribution function was used to analyze the testing results.As found,the tensile strength of the domestic carbon fibers is much lower than those of Toray T700 and TC 36S.Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) analysis shows that there are more nicks and grooves in the surface of domestic carbon fibers.This may be responsible for relatively lower tensile strengths.
