The Corrosion community has much to learn from those who have invested much of their adult life in the coating industry, but the process of dissemination is often ineffective. This paper provides a synopsis of almost 40 years of experience in the heavy duty coatings industry. The topics cover a selection of popular myths and general commentary on the good, the bad and the ugly of the heavy duty coating industry.
