Sustainable Use and Protection of Groundwater Resources - Transboundary Water Management -Belarus, Poland, Ukraine Project as a Step for Establishing Integrated Transboundary Groundwater Management East of EU

摘要

Experience gained during more than 3 years of the project implementation allowed identification of basic problems that occur on the eastern part of the transboundary EU area. This is principally a step towards international cooperation, and at making the subsequent generations aware of the fact that the water system goes far beyond any administrative borders. A task of particular importance is to assure becoming acquainted with water management systems, and especially groundwater on areas of neighbouring countries.
