Based on the triaxial consolidation drained shear tests, the stress-strain relationship of lime-fly ash loess was analyzed under different confining pressures. Other mechanical parameters, such as volumetric deformation, peak strength, remnant strength, elastic modulus and shearing strength were investigated as well. Linear relationships were found between peak strength, remnant strength, peak strain and confining pressure, respectively. However, the dilatancy property decreased with increasing confining pressure. The destructions can be explained by the damage theory. The stress-strain relation curve also indicated that Duncan-Chang Model could not be applied to lime-fly ash loess, while the modified Saenz Formula could be used to describe the stress-strain relation of lime-fly ash loess, and good agreement was obtained.
