This study aims to develop a methodology for analysis of composition variation of MSWI fly ash during heating process. This work performed analysis of elementary and chemical component variation as a function of temperature, by means of XRF and ICR It is found that fly ash registers a SiO_2-Al_2O_3-metal oxides system and its content of glass phases is around 57% which is conducive to reduction of energy consumption in its recycling process. Content of crystal phases first increases between room temperature and 800°C and then decreases between 800°C and 1300°C, while that of glass phases registers a reverse trend.
