Further development of SolidWorks with VB is carried out in this paper. Program and dimension driving methods arc utilized for parametric design to realize the automatic generation of three dimension component and engineering drawing in SolidWorks. Intelligent generation of drawing is achieved by adjusting the view scale of engineering drawing, generating view size and cutaway view in order to improve the design efficiency and quality.
