摘要

The particularity of the gear pair (including cam couple) constraint often causes error results in calculating planar mechanism degree of freedom. The main reason is that errors occur in dealing with higher pairs. In previous paper, the constraint mode of bogus higher pair was introduced in calculating the freedom degree of planar mechanism through the analysis of the basic concept of constraint. In the article, the viewpoint where bogus higher pair is pure rolling constraint was proved by using instantaneous velocity center method and velocity image method. Simultaneous, the problems of lower pair replacing higher pair of planar mechanism (including bogus higher pair) were studied. It is believed that the work will provide instructive guidance for the innovative design and kinematics/dynamics analysis planar mechanism.
