The primary treatment of waste water received from the Beng River in the city of Linyi, Shandong, China has been studied. Collecting samples from the water of Beng River acted by PAC flocculant FeCl3 and water treatment then, through experiments measured in water samples after the ammonia Nitrogen and soluble Phosphorus concentrations, pH and turbidity of the water sample, we reached the results which showed that the best dosage of FeCl3 and PAC was 12 mg/L and 9 mg/L. In the absence of optimal dosage the removal of Nitrogen and Phosphorus increased by the chemical dosage increasing, the pH of water samples between 6 and 8, turbidity between 2 and 10.After achieving the best dosage for output when continuing to increase dose, the volume of nitrogen and phosphorus removal was no longer obvious. PH voted with the increase of dose. Turbidity enhanced with the increase of dosage.If the pH value of water samples changed in conditions of the best FeCl3 and PAC chemical dosage, the volume of Nitrogen and Phosphorus removal was little when the pH value less than 7, the effect of removaling muddy was less obvious. When the pH value greater than 7, the amount of Nitrogen and Phosphorus removal gradually increased and the effects for removaling muddy became obvious with the pH value raising.
