In nature there are more than 230 different boron minerals present. These boron minerals can be divided in to some major groups such as; Calcium Borates, Sodium Borates and Magnesium Borates. Magnesium Borates can be listed as; Inderite, Kurnacovite, Szaybelit, Admontite, Mcallisterite, etc. The synthesis of magnesium borates is important owing to their useful properties such as high heat resistance, corrosion resistance and high coefficient of elasticity.
