1. Einar Tandberg-Hanssen and Solar Physics (Brigitte Schmieder's speech) Dear Colleagues, I would like to report first on the scientific'career of Einar Tandberg-Hanssen: how he became a Solar Physicist particularly interested in prominences. In the second part of my talk I will show what he brought to the French community from the science perspective.
