Aluminum borate whisker reinforced aluminum phosphates composites with SiO_2 additive were prepared by pressure less sintering. The influence of SiO_2 on aluminum borate whisker aluminum phosphates ceramic wave transparent materials was investigated. It was found that after the sintering at 1050°C for 1 h, the Vickers hardness of the composites with 5% SiO_2 addition reaches 299MPa, the flexural strength 153.8MPa. The dielectric constantan and loss tangent of the composites are 2.8 and 0.03132 at 10GHz, respectively.
