The Rainwater Artful Design of the Ecological Farm in Fumin County of Yunnan Province

In nature, rainwater makes its cycle through evaporation, infiltration, surface runoff and so on. To best manage rainwater, simulating nature and split-flow design would be good ways. Based on the opinion, We take measures such as bioretention, swale, rain gardens, pond, and wetlands to split-flow manage rainwater from roofs, roads, parking and green lands in the Fumin ecological farm of Yunnan province. Through the systemic design, the green land of the farm will have the ecological multi-functions: Reduce peak flow; Purify, collect and store rainwater; and replenish groundwater. Rainwater facilities add not only their aesthetic value, but also their entertainment and educational functions.
