This article makes experimental research on the matching relation between the demand and supply in Shanghai's commercial residential housing market in the previous ten years based on large volume of statistical data analysis and market research. The conclusions that the total quantity between the housing demand and supply, the housing structure between the demand and supply (including the structure of region, product types structure and area size structure) and the price structure between the demand and supply do not match each other are reached. Further research about the reasons for the unbalance and adjusting policy are suggested in this paper.
