As a further improvement of crushed stone grouting pile (CSGP), in this paper, frusta-like crushed stone grouting pile (FCSGP) is applied in a soft foundation widening project. Based on finite element program, the integral deformation, different settlements, and uneven settlements of subgrade with pile and subgrade without pile are compared. Furthermore, the characteristics of deformation of the pile and the soil, as well as the transmission pattern of load of composite foundation with Frusta-like crushed stone grouting pile (FCSGP) are studied, and results show that FCSGP is a feasible treatment of foundation with a better reinforcing effect.
