Development of new surgical techniques and significant progress in construction and adaptability of the implantable hearing aids results in their wider application for patients with hearing impairment. The method of mechanical stimulation of the middle ear, alternatively allows to eliminate the inconvenience and technical limitations of the commonly used hearing aids. Electromagnetic earphone, or bone transducer of the hearing aid, is replaced in middle ear implants with the miniature vibrating system, which is fixed to selected middle ear structure. The reduction of feedback occurring at high gain settings, especially at high frequencies, while maintaining the appropriate perception of own voice (coexisting phenomenon of occlusion) is the main problem, in the conventional solutions yet unsolved. Even the newest hearing aids, do not always produce the expected results. Middle ear implants are practically without this defect in the recommended range of adjustment.
