AN IMPROVED METHOD OF TARGET DETECTION BASED ON GAUSSIAN MIXTURE MODEL AND AVERAGE BACKGROUND METHOD

摘要

Based on the study of the existing target detection algorithms, this paper does more research on Gaussian Mixture Model and Average Background Method, and proposes an improved method based on the combination of them, then realizes the algorithm by using OpenCV and VS2008. According to the experimental results, this method can detect the target of the video sequence in a complex environment accurately and has high ability to suppress noise interference.
